Here are all the answers to your blazing questions. 

 

• Where are your products made? 

We are a small home based business which hand-pours every single one of our products. Because of this, color may slightly vary from batch to batch. Everything from recipes, labels, packaging is all created by the owner, Cathryn who has spent months doing research and preparation making sure what gets put out to the world is only the very best. We are located in Illinois, USA. 

 

• What wax is your melts and candles made of?

We make our brand's products from only vegetable wax. As of now, we have soy products available and soon will be bringing on other vegetable/natural waxes so you can customize our products based on your likes and wants.  None of the waxes will be of paraffin blends. 

  

• What do your fragrances contain?

We only use fragrances that have no synthetic components to them. They are cruelty free, phthalate free, and paraben free.  The naturals collection also does not contain prop 65 ingredients, carcinogens, mutagens, nor reproductive, organ, or acute toxins.  They are made from natural materials and are ISO 9235 certified. We will also be using 100% pure, undiluted essential oils in the very near future. The products that contain only 100% pure essential oils will be noted. Be sure to subscribe to our newsletter to find out when they will be here. 

 

• What dyes do you use?

I use both "block" dyes and liquid dyes.  Block dyes are just solid dyes with a soy wax base (so no paraffin or other waxes) and the liquid dyes I use are REACH registered, which is a regulation designed to protect human and environmental health from chemicals that could cause harm to the people, planet, or animals. This means these dyes are made with a renewable solvent system and contains no parabens, phthalates, or Prop 65 ingredients.

 

• How long do your wax melts last?

Each wax melt clamshell holds 2.5oz of wax. The entire container will last approx. 120 hours which means each cube will last roughly 20 hours.  

 

• How strong are the scents you use?

When it comes to fragrance, wax guidelines use a percentage basis for how much a certain wax will hold of fragrance.  We step over that line and have been able to figure out how much we can "push" each type of wax to its limits. We had our friends and family be our test subjects when testing different percentages to make sure what we put out there is not weak, but strong!

 

• Why do some of the wax melts have white patches?

The white patches is called “polymorphism” or more common, frosting.  This is when a white crystalline layer forms on the surface of waxes. It is a completely natural effect and only occurs throughout vegetable waxes. It takes place when the natural wax tries to return to its natural state.  All soy (in particular) wax frost to some degree and it's just a sign that I really am using natural soy wax. It does not affect the performance whatsoever. 

 

• What do I do with the leftover containers?

Our candle and wax melt packaging is 100% recyclable. Our clear candle vessels are made from a type-III soda-lime glass, it is food contact safe and the colored candle vessels are made of glass as well (just not food safe). You can repurpose them for whatever suits your needs (just make sure you properly wash them out). Same goes for shipping packages and stuffing.  Recycle, Recycle, Recycle (or reuse)! 

 

• When will my order be shipped?

Starting June 1st orders will be fulfilled mon-wed.  Any order coming in AFTER 1pm cst on Wednesday will not be shipped until the following Monday. This is to ensure that packages sent on Wednesday will be delivered by Saturday so packages do not sit on the hot trucks during the weekend and melt. Once the weather cools down we will go back to fulfilling within 1 business day. You can check out our shipping policy for any further information. 

USPS Priority shipping does not guarantee their delivery dates. USPS does however guarantee Priority Mail Express.  For more information regarding their guarantees please visit www.usps.com.  As of March 26, 2020 UPS has suspended the UPS Service Guarantee for all shipments.  For further information you can go to www.ups.com.  

 

• Do you offer gift services?

If you would like a cute card for a birthday, anniversary, holiday, etc. included, please write in the "note" section during checkout what you would like the card to say as well as what celebration the card is for if your sentiment doesn't state so I know what design to use. Please keep your sentiment to 1-2 sentences. The card is free of charge, however, we do not offer gift wrapping at the moment.  The melts however are wrapped in tissue paper to give a gift appearance.
